Bitterness, like a disease, spreads quickly.
She waited until the lights faded.
I really like your stories because each one makes me think about what it could be referring to. My favorite is "Running from things that don't matter" especially because I can relate. Also I don't know if the rhyming was intentional, but it was a nice touch!
